About Me
I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee, where I went straight into nursing school after high school and graduated in 1995. I’ve been dedicated to critical care ever since, building a 30‑year career rooted in high‑acuity practice, leadership, and a deep commitment to patient safety and standards of care.
In 2017, I moved to Lakeside, Montana, and it quickly became home. I love the community, the mountains, and the pace of life here. I’m married, have one child, and share my home with two energetic huskies who keep life interesting.
Outside of nursing and legal nurse consulting, I enjoy photography and scrapbooking — creative outlets that let me slow down, capture moments, and tell stories in a different way.
My Expertise
With more than 30 years of critical care experience, I bring a deep clinical background that spans Cardiovascular Surgery, Trauma, and Neurosurgery. I have been charting electronically since 1999, giving me decades of familiarity with EMR systems and the evolution of digital documentation.
I became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant in 2010 and have since supported attorneys on a wide range of medically related cases. I am fully equipped to analyze any type of medical record—whether electronic or an original paper chart—and translate complex clinical information into clear, actionable insights.
My combined clinical expertise and medico‑legal experience allow me to identify key issues quickly, recognize deviations from standards of care, and ensure that no critical detail is overlooked.
